ANEAR is a social media app designed to bring people back together in real life. The app doesn’t use feeds, profiles, or content to keep you scrolling. Instead, it shows you when someone you know is in the same city.
You receive a notification when a friend is nearby or when your travel plans overlap. You decide if and when you want to reach out. There is no exact location sharing and no tracking of your movements.
People often drift apart simply because they don’t realize how close they actually are. ANEAR makes these moments visible again — to increase the chance of meeting someone in real life again.
