About SongMemento
SongMemento makes a personalized song about a specific person, from the details only you would know. You answer a short set of prompts, their name, the inside jokes, the way they say hello, a moment you keep coming back to, and it writes and produces a track built around those answers instead of generic filler lyrics.
The reason it exists is that the usual options are thin. A store-bought card says nothing, and a playlist of other people's songs is not really about the person you love. A song that names their dog and quotes the thing they always say lands differently. People use it for birthdays, anniversaries, wedding gifts, and, quietly, for memorial songs when they want to hold onto someone's voice in the family.
You can hear a playable example before committing anything, so you know what the output actually sounds like rather than guessing from a promise. The writing tries to avoid the obvious rhymes and the greeting-card tone; specific details go in, and specific details come back out in the lyrics.
Under the hood it leans on music-generation models, but the input that matters is yours, the small true things that make the song feel like it could only be about one person. You review the lyrics, and you can steer them before the final track is produced.
It is meant for people who are not musicians and have no interest in becoming one, they just want to give something that took thought. If you have ever wanted to say something to someone and could not find the words, this hands you the words and the melody together, and it takes minutes rather than the months of learning an instrument would.
