About Save Email as PDF
Save Email as PDF is a Chrome extension that batch-exports Gmail messages to PDF without ever uploading them to a server. Instead of opening each message and printing it one at a time, you filter your mailbox the way you already think about it — by label, by search query, or by sender — select the conversations that matter, and export hundreds of them in a single click, with their attachments included.
Output is meant to survive contact with the real world. Filenames follow a template you define from the sender, subject and date, so an exported archive stays sortable and searchable instead of turning into a folder of "message.pdf" duplicates. Page setup supports A4, Letter, Legal and custom sizes in either orientation, which matters when the PDFs have to match a filing standard rather than just look reasonable on screen. Original formatting, fonts and inline images are preserved, so quoted threads and signatures still read the way they did in Gmail.
The privacy model is the part that decides most purchases. Conversion runs entirely inside the browser: no email content is uploaded to a third-party service, nothing is queued on a server, and no account beyond your own Gmail session is involved. That is what makes the extension usable in settings where forwarding a client's mail to an external converter would not be acceptable — lawyers and paralegals building court-ready bundles, accountants and HR teams assembling audit-compliant records, healthcare providers handling patient correspondence, and real estate agents and freelancers who simply need a durable copy of what was agreed.
Pricing stays out of the way while you evaluate it. A free tier covers 30 conversions and includes lifetime updates; unlimited export is $4.99 per month, or $49.90 per year for anyone who archives on a regular schedule.
